Screamers: The Hunting (2008)

Following the incident on planet Sirius 6-B, all humans deserted the colony. The man-made weapons known as Screamers--a race of highly mobile, bladed machines named after the shrill noise they emit on attack--were thought to be destroyed. But when a bewildering distress signal indicates that survivors may still live on Sirius 6-B, a team of soldiers is called in to investigate. Are the people they find there entirely human? Or are they the terrifying next step in the evolution of the Screamers? Lance Henriksen stars in this scary sci-fi horror-thriller, the sequel to a film based on a novel by Philip K. Dick.
